Previous Conferences
The first CHARGE conference was held in 1993 in St. Louis, Missouri. It was attended by over 250 people, including about 50 children with CHARGE.
Since then, the biennial conference has grown in its significance and impact, attracting over 1,200 attendees and over 250 individuals with CHARGE syndrome at recent Conferences. Attendees include first-time attendees, new parents, individuals with CHARGE, families, and professionals all with the common desire to learn more about the myriad of medical and developmental issues facing individuals with CHARGE syndrome.
Parents have described Conference as a rite of passage, a family reunion, a place to meet and network with others facing the same challenges, an opportunity to learn from professionals (medical, clinical and educational), and a chance to participate in CHARGE research while becoming more informed about how to help their child.
We are committed to continue holding CHARGE conferences every two years with rotating geographic locations.
