Ryan, Clydea, Kenith, Colt, Memphis, and our little Charger, Jagger
What do you want people to know about your family?
We are originally from Texas, but moved to Tennessee two years ago after our son, Jagger was born. We have 4 boys and a sweet cocker spaniel, Charlie. Our charger, Jagger is our youngest and has underwent numerous surgeries, procedures, and has many more to come. Ryan and I both have medical backgrounds, Ryan being a psychiatric rehabilitation therapist for the State of Texas previously and I have been an RN for almost 15 years.
Why do you volunteer with the Foundation?
As CHARGE parents, we are our son’s biggest advocate and we know how much of a roller coaster of emotions, surgeries, hospital stays, and overall care for a charge kiddo can be. Along the way, we have found numerous resources to help make a better life for our son and we are always researching for new resources or opportunities to continue to make his life the best it can be. We can’t wait to share everything we know and hopefully learn more from everyone else as well.
What activities do you/your family like to do?
We like to travel, cook, try new foods, go to children’s museums and zoo, and also just sit on our front porch and enjoy the Tennessee scenery.
