Family with two parents and two kids stands in front of the CHARGE Syndrome Foundation backdrop at Conference Family in winter coats standing in the snow. The father holds his daughter with CHARGE syndrome. Both the father and son wear santa hats.

Who is in your family?
My husband Jared, our son Elijah and daughter Juliana. Juliana was born with CHARGE Syndrome.

What do you want people to know about your family?

We are an easy going family who like to spend a lot of quality time together as well as with other family and friends. We enjoy the outdoors when the weather is nice, but also like watching movies and playing games.

Why do you volunteer with the Foundation?

To stay connected with other families going through similar experiences as us. To also learn as much as possible about the help and resources available for children with CHARGE Syndrome, in order to help my daughter as well as other families.

What activities do you/your family like to do?

Going for walks, bike riding, swimming, camping, boating, fishing, putting together Lego sets, gaming (board games and video games).
