Who is in your family?
Our family includes myself, Josh (Husband), Callan but goes by “Coco”, and Quinn. We also have a rescue terrier mix, Sunny.
What do you want people to know about your family?
I live in Dayton, Ohio, and I’m the mother of Callan, whom we affectionately call “Coco.” Coco recently started elementary school and was diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome during a six-week NICU stay at Cincinnati Children’s. Professionally, I work for a pediatric hospital in Dayton and am passionate about connecting people with the resources they need.
Why do you volunteer with the Foundation?
Coco’s first two years were incredibly difficult and overwhelming for our family. The support and connection we found through other parents of children with CHARGE Syndrome meant so much to us. Now, I hope to offer that same encouragement and sense of community to other families navigating their own CHARGE journey.
What activities do you/your family like to do?
As a family, we enjoy spending time together outdoors, swimming, visiting local parks, and relaxing with movie nights.
