Who is in your family?
Bean’s grandpa is Jack, I am her grandmother, Nonna. She has an Uncle Chris who has 3 children-JW (8), Lila (4) and Arden (2). His wife is Emily. Jill and Remy are Bean’s parents and Chase is her baby sister (10 mos). Remy’s parents are Team Bean Captains along with Casey, Remy’s brother and his son Shane.
What do you want people to know about your family?
- We are proud to be Bean’s grandparents and think she is AMAZING
- We are members of the Bean team and are involved in her care
- I am a retired Speech/Language Pathologist with many years of experience in working with communication difficulties in all ages and as a Learning Specialist
Why do you Volunteer with the Foundation?
I volunteer for the Foundation because I want to be used in any means possible to be of assistance to Bean and to the CHARGE community. Involvement provides an outlet to share the knowledge I gained over the years to help Bean to be the best that she can be. I want to be a part of the journey that Jill and Remy are on in raising Bean. I am in love with this amazing little girl!
What activities do you like to do?
I like any time I get to spend with my grandchildren taking them on “field trips” to just hanging out at home with them. I love to cook, garden and walk.
