What do you want people to know about your family?
We are the Beatys, a family of 5 that sticks together through joy and tough times. We work hard to be kind neighbors, make a difference, and have fun in life!
Why do you volunteer with the Foundation?
We volunteer because we want to support other families to find peace in their journey and be able to offer a hand up to the families coming up behind them, similarly to what was done for us. If we all work together, we can be stronger. United we can help make a difference for good.
What activities do you/your family like to do?
We typically stay busy; but we also enjoy down time. Our family members play various sports (general and adapted) like soccer, football, Miracle League, CrossFit, Pilates, and gymnastics. On the weekends, if we are not at a DeafBlind social or farmers market, we might be exploring a new space, watching our tablets, doing a puzzle, or playing a game of Uno!
