Deafblind Awareness Week – Audrey’s Story

Audrey is deafblind and experiences the world differently than most people – through touch, trust, and connection. Despite facing countless barriers including numerous surgeries and challenges with communication and mobility, she continues to defy expectations every day and is one of the most fun people to be around. Through her determination and the relationships she builds with family, friends, therapists, and her community, Audrey shows us that connection goes far beyond words or sight. She is breaking barriers by proving what is possible and building bridges by teaching others the importance of inclusion, understanding, and the power of human touch. Audrey is a gem like no other and makes us so proud everyday. Go Audrey!
