Hunter was born with CHARGE syndrome, Dandy Walker Syndrome, and Complete DiGeorge syndrome. Hunter has many medical issues, but has shown to be stronger than all of them. He is non verbal but shows so much love.
Hunter was born with no thymus. After waiting for 2 years with no immune system, Hunter got his thymus transplant at Duke University in North Carolina. As the last patient in the transplant study. Although he did not get much of an immune system from the thymus, between the t-cells it has produced and the Infusion he gets weekly, he has a good medical immunity.
Hunter is 8 and loves Elmo, planets, bright lights, and loud sounds.
