Will was diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome by his amazing team of specialists at Boston Children’s Hospital at just a few months old. Will was born with cranial facial abnormalities and nerve issues causing chronic aspiration and lung damage. He is currently dependent on a feeding tube for all of his nutrition. Because Will has hearing loss, he uses ASL and hearing aids to help him communicate and learn at school. Over the years Will has received services at home and in school by wonderful providers in PT, Speech, OT, and Special Education. He has a strong, fiery personality that matches his beautiful red hair. Will has two older siblings, and he adores his little dog, Lincoln (that is, when he is not playing tricks on him!). He has a witty sense of humor and a curiosity that keeps everyone around him answering questions all day long. Will has overcome so many obstacles already. He continues to embrace his life’s journey with grace and bravery. Will just celebrated his ninth birthday!
