“We have traveled to Cincinnati Children’s CHARGE Center from Tampa, FL numerous times over the past 3 years for our 3 year old daughter, Sienna. We love getting her medical care there, as all of her doctors are experts in this rare syndrome. We have taken advantage of the Medical Assistance Program the past couple of years and we are so very grateful to the CHARGE Foundation for this grant. It has covered airfare, car rentals and gas for our family, which has been a huge blessing as we have to travel a couple times a year (we have also been fortunate enough to stay at the Ronald McDonald House for food and lodging). The application process is very simple and the board members are wonderful to work with!
We hope to spread the word about this program to other families who seek out of area care from the experts in CHARGE. It’s not as impossible as one may think, the grant money is there to be used and is available to all CHARGE families in need!” -Lindsay, Sienna’s Mom
