Scholarships and Funding

We know that coming to conference can be difficult financially so we have prepared a Funding Guide to help you look for sources of funding that may be available to you and your family.  You can also earn free registrations through our fundraising incentive program.  It’s important to try as many options as possible in order to find the funding you need for your family.

In addition, we offer a limited number of scholarships for families who are members of the Foundation.

NOTE: The deadline for scholarship applications was April 1.  All applicants will be notified by May 1.

The CHARGE Syndrome Foundation along with the CHARGE for Connor organization were pleased to offer the following scholarships for our 2019 conference:

Norbury Scholarship – Covers up to 3 registrations per family for 1st time attendees.Marion Norbury This scholarship was begun as a tribute to Lee Norbury and is now in tribute to Lee and Marion Norbury, who was one of the founders of the Foundation.

Emma Bluestone Scholarship – Covers up to 3 registrations per family for attendees who have been to a past conference. Emma Bluestone devoted her life to her family – Eli, her husband of 62 years, her 4 sons and their families – but nothing brought her more joy than her 10 grandchildren, including Zachary, born in 1995 with CHARGE. Prior to Emma’s passing, in April of 2017, she made arrangements for a $50,000 bequest to the Foundation, for the purpose of creating a scholarship to provide financial support to families to help defray the costs of attending the conference.
