The Foundation - Board Profile

Cynthia Antaya: Board Member

My name is Cynthia Antaya and I am an adult with CHARGE Syndrome.

I live in Woodbridge, Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC, with my husband Keith, and 2 year old son, Brady. Brady is also diagnosed with CHARGE Syndrome. I became involved in the world of CHARGE Syndrome when Brady was born and he and I were both diagnosed at the same time.


In 2009 at the Chicago Conference, I became involved with the Board of the Foundation. I intend to become involved in numerous committees that fall under the Board, including the Adult Services committee.


I am a nationally certified school psychologist and work for Fairfax County Public Schools in Northern Virginia. In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, hiking, biking, and cooking. If you have any questions for me, please contact me. I enjoy meeting new families, online and face to face and sharing my story.
